Criminal charges filed after New Hampshire collision

New Hampshire police were called to a grizzly scene at an intersection in North Hampton on a recent Saturday afternoon. The local fire department also first responders after a collision between two vehicles, one of which was a motorcycle. The woman who was driving the car that collided with the motorcyclist is now facing criminal charges for DUI.

The 38-year-old woman was reportedly carrying an underage passenger in her BMW when she crashed into a Harley Davidson in a cross section of the roadway. While the child and the woman did not suffer any injuries, the motorcyclist was not as fortunate. Sadly, the force of the impact caused his death.

Rescuers transported all of those involved to a nearby hospital

The motorcyclist was immediately transported to a local hospital for emergency care after the collision but was pronounced dead after arrival. Police arrested the woman for suspected drunk driving. An arraignment was then scheduled in a New Hampshire court.

State troopers appeal to the public for investigation assistance

The recent New Hampshire tragedy involving a BMW and a motorcycle remains under investigation. Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash to get in touch with them. There is no replacement for the loss of human life. However, a grieving family may take comfort in knowing that a wrongful death claim may be filed when another driver’s negligence was responsible for a loved one’s death.
