New Hampshire police accuse man of several crimes

On Behalf of | Sep 24, 2022 | Criminal Defense

A string of criminal incidents recently occurred in New Hampshire. Investigators say they believe the same man is responsible for all of them. The man in question resides in another state but plans for extradition are taking place so that he will stand trial here.

The man is accused of vandalizing several structures with graffiti. He is also believed to have broken into a bakery and set a maintenance building on fire at an apartment complex. The burglary and fire apparently occurred in the wee hours of the morning on a recent Sunday. The graffiti incidents took place throughout the same weekend.

Numerous criminal charges filed

Once arrangements are made to transport the 37-year-old man back to New Hampshire, he will face criminal charges for burglary, theft and arson, as well as charges associated with several acts of graffiti. As in all criminal cases, the defendant has the right to present a defense against each allegation. Until the case is fully adjudicated, he is presumed innocent, unless and until prosecutors can prove otherwise beyond a reasonable doubt.

Defense options an important consideration

A strong defense is always a key factor toward obtaining a positive outcome when facing criminal charges in a New Hampshire court. The average person might have no idea, however, how to build a strong defense. This is why it is always best to consult with an experienced criminal law attorney at the earliest opportunity. An attorney can review a case and make recommendations, as well as speak and act on a defendant’s behalf in court, which makes proceedings a lot less stressful.
