Police make arrest at New Hampshire concert

Superstar rapper, Pitbull, recently paid a visit to the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion to do a concert. A large crowd came to the venue to enjoy a night out. Among them was a 22-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man who each came to the show with a group of friends.  

Two strangers, one accused of stealing an alcoholic beverage 

At some point during the evening, the young woman was accused by one of the man’s friends of stealing a drink. The woman reportedly denied committing the theft but offered to purchase a new drink for them. Witnesses say the man came running up several flights of stairs, then struck the woman in the jaw.  

When the woman later recounted her experience, she stated that another person, a female, was also hitting her but because she fell unconscious, she does not remember all the details of the events that transpired. Police were called to the scene, and the woman was transported to a hospital for treatment, where doctors stated that she was paralyzed from the waist down. An update provided on her condition stated that the woman is now able to walk with assistance. 

Investigators are still working on the case 

The 33-year-old man was arrested at the New Hampshire concert venue. If convicted of felony assault charges, he may face up to seven years in prison. Police say there are surveillance films available, which they will be reviewing as part of their investigation. As part of the adjudication process, however, he will be given an opportunity reach out for criminal defense support if he chooses to do so, which most defendants in similar cases typically do.
