No one likes to see flashing lights in their rearview mirror. It usually means that the driver is about to face a potentially expensive traffic ticket or perhaps even facing criminal charges, such as for DUI. For example, on a recent Sunday, police attempted to pull over a vehicle at around 11:40 a.m. The driver made the choice to flee. Unfortunately, it resulted in tragedy.
When the vehicle sped away from police, the driver failed to make it around a curve and slammed into a tree. There were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash — a woman and a man. The 31-year-old man in the backseat succumbed to the injuries he suffered in the impact.
